A really stunning mixed media piece created from a segment of a type case / wooden printmakers drawer.

The beautiful red fern frond is its natural colour. Fern fronds and paintings are set in layers of resin. (Bearing in mind each layer needs two days to dry, these pieces take quite some time to make.

The resin creates depth and shadow and protects the delicate ferns.

This piece is signed on the back. It can be free standing or hung on the wall with the triangular brass fitting - this can be folded down if not being used.

Dimensions: 21cm wide, 11cm high, 4.7cm deep.

UK posting is free, a tracked system is used.

All of the ferns used are taken from my garden.
