I'm exhibiting at two events in April. First up is the British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF).
This is a trade only event, it takes place in Harrogate from the 10th - 12th April. To register as a buyer please click here.
From Saturday 30th April - Monday 2nd May I will be exhibiting at the Saltaire Makers' Fair. This is a wonderful event with a carefully curated selection of makers.
The fair takes place in Victoria Hall in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Alongside the fair is the open houses event where Saltaire residents turn their houses into galleries displaying artists work. Its a wonderful place to visit and one of my favourite events of the year!
My last order date for orders to reach you in time for Christmas is Friday 17th December, this is for addresses within the UK. I'll be using the Royal Mail First Class Signed For service for orders under £100 and Special Delivery (next working day) for orders over £100. UK P&P remains free on all orders placed on my website. Best Wishes,
I'm busy working on a new range of cufflinks at the moment. They will be available in most of the designs from the Japanese Collection and if things go to plan - bees too. The cufflinks are presented in a velvet lined slide tin with a recycled card wrapper. This range came about from requests from customers, so if you have any ideas please do get in touch. As soon as I have added the cufflinks to the website I will send out a discount code in my newsletter. To recieve offers and find out more about Leigh Shepherd Designs sign up to my newsletter.
During the holiday break we visited Crosby beach to see Antony Gormley's sculpture Another Place. It was a lovely sunny, cold, blustery day. The light was beautiful, I found the whole experience very inspiring.I returned home with plans for a new range of work. Its something I've been toying with for a while but somehowas we wandered along the beach I could see more clearly what it was I wanted to do. This week I'm busy orderingsupplies and mocking up 'first drafts'. I know it will take a good while to develop my initial idea but I'm enjoying the plotting and planning!
