This is quite an old shuttle, it has a lovely aged patina. The pirn is stamped with the words 'HOLYBROOK MILLS GREENGATES JAN 1949'. The shuttle measures 34cm long, 4cm wide and 4cm deep. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI stitched the little honey bees from thread, felt and wire. The honeycomb is made from paper and filled with honey coloured resin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is signed on the back, there is a small triangular ring so that it can be hung on the wall if you wish.
