This little Secret Hive is made inside a lovely hinged Victorian papier mache laqured box. 

Hiding inside I have created a little secret hive with handmade paper honeycomb and three little bees which I have stitched from felt, thread and wire. The 'honey' is made from dyed resin and paper. The wording reads 'Life is the flower for which love is the honey' by Victor Hugo.

This piece is signed and numbered on the back.

The little box when closed measures: 10.5cm x 4cm and is 3.25cm deep.
