This little Secret Hive is made inside a lovely Victorian papier-mache powder pot. The pot is decorated with daisies and butterflies. It has a lovely aged patina and wear commensurate with its age. I have polished it with museum grade protective wax. 

Hiding inside I have created a 'Secret Hive' with handmade paper honeycomb and three little bees which I have stitched from felt, thread and wire. The 'honey' is made from dyed resin.

This piece is signed and numbered on the back.

The pot when closed, measures: 8cm in diameter and is 7cm high.
