Sewing Bee #166 Mill Bobbin

A gorgeous mixed media Sewing Bee created from a vintage wooden mill bobbin, handmade honeycomb, needle and felt bees.

I made this piece from a vintage wooden mill bobbin, the wood has a lovely aged patina. It's a beautiful unique piece. The thread is a shiny warm cream colour.
The little bees, I hand stitched with thread, felt and wire. The honeycomb is made from paper and filled with honey coloured resin. The piece is completed with a sewing needle.

The piece measures 11cm high by 8.5cm wide. It will be sent carefully wrapped in tissue paper and boxed.
