 #592 Secret Hive

This  Hive is made with a vintage ebony hand mirror. The wood has a lovely aged patina, the glass has a few marks, commensurate with its age. The words 'REAL EBONY' are stamped on the handle. Please see all the photos for details.

I made the honeycomb from paper and the little bee is stitched from felt, thread and wire. The 'honey' is made from dyed resin and paper. 

This piece is signed and numbered on the back. It can be hung on your wall with the brass triangular ring.

Measurements: length 34cm, width 14cm and is 2.5cm deep.
